Summary
This website, www.edge.cpa, is run by Edge Accountants & Advisors LC (“Edge,” “we”), based in Summerville, South Carolina. It is an informational site. There are no accounts or logins on it.
The site collects information in two ways: what you choose to send through the contact form, and basic usage data collected by Google Analytics. Our web host also keeps standard technical logs. We do not sell personal information.
The contact form
If you send us a message through the contact form, we receive the information you enter:
- Name
- Email address
- Organization
- Organization type (not-for-profit or small business)
- Annual revenue range
- Number of employees (as a range)
- Your message
Only name, email, organization type, and message are required. The form is processed by Formspree, a third-party form service, which delivers your message to us by email. We use what you send only to respond to your inquiry.
Please don’t send sensitive information
Please don’t include Social Security or tax ID numbers, account numbers, tax documents, or other sensitive financial details in the contact form. Existing clients share documents through the client portal.
Analytics and cookies
The live site (www.edge.cpa) uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects information such as the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, your device and browser type, and your approximate location. We look at this information in aggregate, to see which pages are useful. It does not tell us your name.
To opt out, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
The site does not use any other analytics or tracking tools.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most web hosts, Cloudflare processes technical information in server logs, such as IP addresses, browser type, and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
The client portal
The “Client Portal” link opens an external portal run by Karbon, which existing clients use to share documents and messages with us. The portal is not part of this website. Information you enter there is governed by Karbon’s own privacy policy and by your engagement with Edge, not by this page.

If what the site collects changes, we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
